15 Drowned And Thousands Of
Homes Damaged.
DEATH ROLL IN BALKANS
(Received 1.30 p.m.) SOFIA. June 20. Fifteen were drowned and thousands of homes were damaged, while 200 buildings were demolished when Lake Rosea overflowed after a cloudburst. Some 05 persons have perished in floods elsewhere in the Balkans during the past few weeks.

POLICE INVESTIGATING
Independent Cable Service. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON". June 29. •Two more fires occurred, one in a warehouse in the Fast Fnd. just outside the city boundary early this morning. An upper floor was seriously damaged. The second was in a fishmonger's shop in Fast Cheap. There was little damage. Police are investigating. The outbreaks constitute the fifth serious fire to occur within a few davs.
