RED ARMY EXERCISES
♦TRANSFER TO BALTIC AREA.
(Ueceiveri O.:so a.m.) MOSCOW, June 20. Ft is officially stated that the Red Army will hold manoeuvres in September in the vicinity of Leningrad. The manoeuvres are usually held near the western frontiers, and the decision to transfer them to the north reflects Russia's concern regarding the Baltic States and Finland's proposed fortification of the Aaland Islands.

JAPANESE CROSS BORDER
MOSCOW, June 29.
Fifteen Japanese aeroplanes accompanied by pursuit craft crossed the Outer Mongolian frontier in the vicinity of Lake Buir Nor. Two were shot down.
