DEFENCE.
Xo self-governing Dominion of the British Empire is ever likely to introduce universal training. Great Britain herself introduced conscription, but then she is in the riling line. Conscription was not mentioned when Britain held her last election. In spite of what they may say, every responsible person knows well that universal training is the only means or making an effective, defence. The tragedy of it is that it has become political.
