The K«w Zealand Shipping Company* steamer Tongariro, which arrived last night from Liverpool, anchored outside Rangitoto Reef. She came into port at high water to-day. berthing at Prince's wharf shortly after 7 a.m., where she is now discharging general cargo. Unless rain causes delay, she is expected to leave for Wellington next Friday. The Union Company* express passenger liner Awatea will arrive on schedule time, 8.10 a.m., to-morrow and will sail at her advertised time, 8 p.m., on Monday. She is expected to berth at Queen's wharf. The Union Company's motor ship Matua will sail at noon tomorrow for Nukualofa, Apia and Suva with passengers and general cargo and is due to return about July 12. The Port Line steamer Port Bowen, which arrived on Wednesday from Port Kembla to start home loading, is expected to leave for Napier to-morrow morning. There was some trouble this morning with the men who were loading at one of the hatches, but after lunch work proceeded smoothly. Bulysses, Shell Company's motor tanker, is due at Wellington next week from Halik Pa pan and will come to Auckland about July 12. (S. Co.) Larchbank is due next Thursday from Nauru with a full cargo of phosphate for discharge here. (8.P.C.)
