Mrs. Thorn, president, assisted by the vice-pj-esident, Mrs. Beamish, welcomed a pood attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the Avondale Women's Club. The speaker for the afternoon was Mrs. Le Petit. Miss Xora Rees sang songs accompanied by Mrs. Bollard at the piano.
