N.Z. NAVAL FORCES
PAY-ALLOWANCES.
INVESTIGATION COMMITTEE.
PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED.

WELLINGTON, this day.
Tho Government has appointed a special committee to investigate the pay and allowances of the New Zealand naval force*. The personnel of the committee is: — Mr. R. E. Price (chairman), Mr. C. M. Bruce, Paymaster-Commander G. L. O. Da vim and Mr. T. F. Anderson.
Mr. Price is Auckland Conciliation Commissioner, Mr. Bruce recently retired from the position of principal Assistant Secretary to the Admiralty, London. Mr. Duvta holds the rank of Pay-master-Commander in the Royal Navy and is squadron accountant officer iii H.M.S. Leander, and Mr. Anderson is secretary or the Seamen's Union in Auckland.
Mr. Bruce is coming to New Zealand by air and - will arrive on July 10, and the committee will commence its investigations in a few days.
