LONDOX, June 25.

Dr. Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Propaganda, in a speech at Cologne, referred to Mr. Chamberlain's speech of Saturday and said: "England stands as an idiot. She cannot pete'with our might.

"It does not matter if English Ministers attempt to threaten. There is no force behind their threats. The Japanese will strip the English naked. They can do nothing."

Herr Hitler, speaking at Munich to 500 Italian ex-servicemen touring the country, said that Italy and Germany will always march together for the same goal. Anyone seeking to tear the bonds would face the <ietermined resistance of the Axis Powers.

"I am convinced that any attempt on the part of the democracies and *capita Vist plutocracies to produce the fate for us which they have planned will fail through the strength of our ideals.

WARSAW, June 22. The Danzig speeches of Dr. Goebbels have drawn only defiance from Poland. In what is believed to have been an officially inspired reply, the newspaper "Kurjer Czerwony" sharply rebukes the German Propaganda Minister. "You Can Talk Your Head Off" is the headline to the article, which declares that Germany's bloodless victories have ended.

"If she is not ready to give up her demands, she must risk war," it adds.
