I The Matson liner Monterey arrived : at 7.1") a.m. to-day from Sydney and | berthed at Prince's wharf. She landed ! 178 passengers and about 230 will join ! her liore. In addition there are 3fiß pas- | sengers booked through from Sydney j and Melbourne for Suva, Pago Pago. Honolulu, Los Angeles Harbour and San Francisco, for which ports she sails at ■"> p.m. to-day. The Union Company'* Royal Mail steamer Moriowai arrived at 8.40 a.m. to-day from Vancouver, via Victoria. B.C. Honolulu and Suva. She berthed at Queen's wharf to land passengers, mail and cargo, and will sail at ."> p.m. to-morrow for Sydney. The j Urilish steamer Nardana, of the A. and I A. Line, arrived at S.l."> a.m. yesterday from New York, via Newport News and ! Panama, and berthed at King's wharf. The New Zealand Shipping Co.. Ltd., who are local agents, expect to dispatch her for Wellington on Wednesday evening. The Blue Star Line steamer Napier Star is completing her loading at Prince's wharf and will sail at noon to-morrow for London and Ncwcastle-on-Tyne, via Panama. In addition to a large general cargo loaded at main ports ?-he will take ten passengers.

H.M.S. Leander sails at 0 a.m. to-mor-row on a cruise to the Islands. Her first port is Suva, followed by a visit to Nukualofa, Rarotonga, Bora bora and Tahiti. (Xaval Dent.)" Zealandic, which is completing her loading at Central wharf, will sail at 10 p.m. to-morrow for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. (A.S.P.) Ensis, Shell Company's motor tanker, which arrived on Saturday from Singapore, is discharging petrol at Western wharf. She completes at Xew Plymouth. (Shell Co.) Trienza is expected to complete discharge of her phosphate this afternoon and sail at 5 p.m. on her return to Nauru. (B.P. Co.) John A. Brown, with petrol from Palemhang. advices the Vacuum Oil Company. Limited, that she expects to arrive on Wednesday morning. (V.O. Waiana loft Lvttelton at l> p.m. on Saturdav for Wellington and Auckland. Waipiata is expected to leave Dillicdin at noon to-day for Oaniaru. Tiinaru, Lyttclton, Wellington and Auckland. Matua left Rarotonga at 11 p.m. on Saturday, and is due here on Thursday morning. , , Gabriella was expected to leave Sydney on Saturday afternoon for Napier and Auckland. ~ Kaiwarra loads at Steiihouse Lay about the end of the week, completing at Adelaide for Auckland. Kiwitea is at present under survey.
