STUD SHEEP SALES. OFFERINGS IX SYDNEY. SYDNEY, June 23. The ptud s-hoop pales were opened today with the British breeds, for which bidding opened quietly, but strengthened during the sales. Border were offered on behalf of Mr. Donald Grant, of Timarti. Nine rams made Ogs to 37V£gs. On account of Mr. W, O. Rennie, Cantorbury, 14 rains made 7V4gs to lies, and on account Mr. W. Shannon, of Palmers-ton North, 14 rams made sgs to 7gs. NGAHENEPOURI CLEARANCE SALE. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held a clearing sale cm the property on account of L. Cameron. Naahoncpouri. A full bench of buyers was present, although the dav was not favourable, and a good sale resulted. The cattle came forward in good order, ami all early calving young cows sold, readily. The implements and pigs also sold at full market rates. Early calving voung Jersey cows. £10 10/ to £13; Shorthorncross cows. £9 10/ to £10 5/: early calving Jersey cows, £8 10/ to £10 s'; August ealvers, £6 10/ to £7 I.V; later ealvers. £4 15/ to £5 10/; small yearling Jersey - cross heifers, £2 to £2 5/: yearling Jersey bulls. £2 to £3; aged bulls, £6 5/. RATES FOR PEDIGREES. G. W. Vercoe and Company, Ltd., reports having held a clearing sale on account of Mr. J. A. Ridgley. The cattle came forward in fair condition and prices were satisfactory. The pedigree Shorthorn cows sold up to 14%gs, while pedigree heifer calves realised 4%gs; young pedigree Shorthorn cows made llge to 14%gs; aged pedigree cows, 6Msgs to 9%gs; grade Shorthorn cows (early ealvers), £7 15/ to £8 10/; more backward, up to £7 10 ; Jersey cows (July ealvers). £8 to £S 15'; more backward, to £7 10/; small crossbred in-calf heifets, to £5 5/.
