'Sheepskins were fully firm at the sale held by the Wellington brokers on Friday. Heavy ox hides met an improved demand and prices advanced by >/ 2 d to %d a lb. Light and medium ox, also all grades of cow. did not receive the same support and generally declined by V&d to Vid a lb. Kip and yearling recorded little change and calfskins were inclined to be a shade firmer. The range of prices was as follows.— Dry Sheepskins.— Half bred. 7d to B%d--fine crossbred. B%d to 0»4d: medium crossbred, fi'/zd to 9d; coarse crossbred. ti% f \ to nv*<l: half-wools. 4V2.1 to S'-id: quarterwools. 4%d to 6%d; pelts. 2%d to 4d. Salted Skins.—Quarter-wools, to 2'3: half-wools. 2 3 to 3/6; three-quarter-wools. 3 6 to 5/2.
