MANUFACTURER HELD UP.

RAW MATERIAL SHORTAGE.

(From Our Correspondent.)

NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday. Because supplies of necessary raw materials have been exhausted a New Zealand firm that manufactures electrical appliances has advised a New Plymouth retailer that it is unable to supply him with his order for a line of radiators this season. The position is believed to be a result of the import restrictions.

We are sorry to advise that we are at the moment out of stock of all the models of radiators you require," states a letter from the manufacturers. "At the moment we are afraid that it may be ippossible to supply thjs line this season, as we have just received advice from the factory that the raw materials so necessary in the manufacture of radiators have been exhausted. Thev will advise us at the end of this month as to what lines they will be able to supply."
