BACH RECITAL.
RECORDINGS AT UNIVERSITY
The music of John Sebastian Bach was illustrated by a recital at the Auckland University College yesterday to an attendance of about 300. The music comprised recordings from the Carnegie Music Set at the college, and among the numbers rendered were "Movements from Three Concertos," two examples of keyboard music, choral music from the "Matthew Passion" and "B Minor Mass," illustrations of chorales, and two movements from the "Suite No. 3 for Orchestra."
