ENJOYABLE PROGRAMME.
An enjoyable At Home was held by the members of the Victoria League in the Lewis Eiidy Hull last evening. The guests were received by the president, Mrs. <7. B. Macfarlane, the chairman of the house committee, Mrs. C. R. Kee-ble, and the <-hrtiriiiaii of the Young Contingent, Mrs. L. S. Kickerby. A welcome to the visitors and members was extended by Macfarlane. Tn view of her impending departure for a holiday in Suva, Mrs. L. S. Kickerby presented Mrs. .1. B. M.uiHilane with a bouquet of flutters from the members of tin- executive. Tlie presentation of a travelling leather hat box was made to Miss Dorei'ii Snuuders. who will leave shortly for England. Miss Salinders has been nn active moinber of the Young Contingent and lui* also held office as convener of the dramatic section. Tlip programme, which was arranged by Miss Ela Hutchison, comprised sones by Mr*. Humfrey Gordon and Mr. Oeoffrey Laird, 'cello solos by Mias June Taylor, pianoforte solos by Mrs. Reginald Reed, who also acted a* accompanist for the singers, a sketch by Miss Doreen Saundere and Miss Margaret Parkinson, and a one-act play produced by Miss Mavis McCulloc.h.
