Terrorist Bombing Makes Market A Shambles.
MORE PALESTINE OUTRAGES. i [ HAIFA, June 10. Eighteen Arabs are at present known to have been killed and 24 injured as the result of the simultaneous explosion of two bombs in the market place. Crowds rushing to the scene discovered the market place a shambles of broken and torn bodies, which had been hurled considerable distances. Sleepers in the areas close by were thrown from their beds. A Jew in a nearby street was stabbed to death. I A few minutes later troops had thrown a cordon round the area and closed all shops in the city. All traffic was brought to a standstill. I A third bomb exploded in the Jewish suburh later and threw out of action half the city's telephones.
