1936 Champion Regains Title Beating Irish Lady.
PAM BARTON'S VICTORY.
(Received 1 p.m.) LONDON", Juno 10. Miss Pamela Barton, winner of the British and American ladies' golf championships in 193(3, has regained the former title. At the Royal Portrusli links, Ireland. Miss Barton beat Mrs. T. Marks (Malone) in the final, 2 and 1.
Miss Pamela Barton, who was born on March 4, 1917, was also runner-up in the British championships of 1034 and 103,5 to Mrs. Andrew Holm and Miss W. Morgan respectively. Mrs. Holm, who also won the title again, at Bnrnham last year, did not defend it at Royal Portrush. Miss Barton visited New Zealand in 1935.
