Mr. Maddison. who extended a warm welcome to visitors from most parts of Xew Zealand. The Dominion vice-president. Mr. F.. A. Field, presided. Among departmental officers attending the conference are Mr. F. T\. Pieot. director of the Tnternal Marketing Division. and Mr. . I . Cloodwin. actingdirector of the Horticultural Division. Mr. F. A. FaK]>. who recent I v retired from the position of chief apiary instructor. was elected ail honorary life member of the association.
