The well-known actor John Barrylnore. who suffered a heart attack compelling the cancellation of a play in
which lie was appearing here, was placed in an oxygen tent to facilitate breathing. Phy-ieians -aid !ii~ neneral condition was much improved. The illness was attributed t'« exhaustion.

OHIO SCHOOL EXPLOSION. NEW VOKK. June 1. An explosion of gas at a school at Barberton. Ohio, injured at least 49 children. Six, who were critically injured, were trapped when the walls and roof of '.he building collapsed.
