CANBERRA. .Tune 1. The Federal Government today decided not to renew permission for the importation of Xew Zealand potatoes. The Prime Minister. Mr. R. G. Meuzies. told the House of Representatives that he was informing the Xew Zealand Prime Minister. Mr. Savage, of the continuation of the embargo pending an investigation of the position by the local "otato advisory committee, with a view o stabilisation of the potato industry. : Mr. Menzies added that in the meaninie citrus growers who were continually complaining of the Xew Zealand ■inbargo on the export of their fruit would be given the opportunity of • [Hitting their case, after which the Government would come to a final rlecision on the potato embargo. ; ' ; i
