THE OLD UMBRELLA.
A customer at a London store has a story to tell about the Prime Minister's umbrella. He went into the umbrella department. Aβ the assistant turned away a moment the customer noticed a sorry-looking umbrella in a corner, and remarked: "I suppose that is Mr, Chamberlain's umbrella?" "Aβ a matter of fact," replied the assistant, "it is. It has just come in for repairs." The customer could hardly believe hie ears, but there was no doubt about it, for the umbrella bore the name Neville Chamberlain.
