STATEMENT BY MR. ADDISOX.

The question of the availability in the next few weeks of trading banks' sterling assets for meeting the second l>eriod »f import licenses and |HMinits to acquire exchange was mentioned tin's evening to the chairman of the Associated Banks. Mr. R. C. Addison. who wrote the following statement : —
