FIJI RUGBY TOUR
N.Z. Visit Cancelled ACCORDING to private advice* from Mr. J. B. K. Taylor, the tour of New Zealand this season by a Fiji Rugbjr team has been cancelled. Apparently condition* imposed by the Government of t ' le . 9 rown Colony are too restrictive. The tour was to have opened at Whangarei on August 26 and terminate at Palmerston North on September 30 against the New Zealand Maori representatives. The team was due to arrive at • Auckland on August 20, under the management of Mr. Taylor, a former Auckland and Wellington representative forward, who i* chairman of the Fiji Rugby Union.
