BETTER HEALTH.
In spite of counter attractions the meeting addressed by Captain F. H. Billington, under the direction of the Better Health Society, was exceptionally well attended. The subject was "Price of the Kmpire and the privilege of self-defence."' The speaker made his address controversial, as illustrated by the fact at question time. The chairman was Mr. H. Woodrutfe, who at the conclusion of the meeting proposed a hearty vote of thank* to the.speakec.
