MEAT IN LONDON. LAMB PRICES FIRMER. i IMPROVED DEMAND. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board advises for the week ended May 25, as follow: —The lamb market continued firm with prices generally better. Consumption is good. Wethers and ewes are meeting with a little better demand with prices firmer. Frozen beef is firm and chilled beef steady for hindquarters, but weaker for fores. Prices are firmer for New Zealand porker pigs on shorter supplies and slightly firmer for New Zealand baconers. There is good trade and better prices for boneless bobby veal. Prices are:—New Zealand sheep: Crossbred wethers and/or maiden ewes. 481b an 3 under. 4M>d.: 651b to 721b, 3 J '4d; ew«, 571b to 041b. 2%d.
