BUILDING BADLY DAMAGED.
(By Telegraph.— Press Association,) WKLLTXt iTOX, Thursday. Seeing flame* issuing from the Vacuum Oil Coin pain's store in the Hutt Ibmd about 4.40 o'clock this morning, the ni<ilit watchman at the Thorndon tram wheels broke a street alarm. The brigade responded and ran two leads to the fire, which was on the top floor of a two-storey building. The blaze was suppressed in about half an hour. The cause of the outbreak is unknown. ! There was considerable damage done to the building and contents. i
