(Received 12 noon » LONDON, May 22. In the House of Commons Captain Crookshank, Parliamentary Secretary for Mines, said the Government had no power to restrain the movement of gold held in the Bank of International Settlements on behalf of tbe Czech National Bank, but Czech gold and other assets in Britain will not be released until the obligations of Czechoslovakia are shouldered. Informal conversations are proT'MliMg with Germany in view of the jjusjiuiiity of more formal discussions early in June.
