MALTA DEFENCE EXERCISES,
MALTA, May 21
Combined Navy, Army and Air Force exercises to be held at Malta will include a complete black-oufr similar to that planned for August 10 in southeastern England, extending to Portsmouth, London and Hull.
The Maltese operations are of great importance in view of the Government's decision not to abandon the island. This should silence the controversy about the feasibility of defending Malta.
