Procession In Jerusalem And White Paper Burned.

LONDON*, May 21
Tlie British United Press Jerusalem coi respondent says the Jewish strike has begun. Shops are closed. An orderly procession ended with the burning of the White Paper and speeches attacking the Government.
The Board of Deputies of British Jews rejected the White Paper.

NEW ZEALAND PROTEST.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Hebrew congregation dispatched a cable to Mr. Chamberlain stating that the Jewish citizens join the world-wide protest against the contemplated abrogation of the Palestine mandate, and urging reconsideration and fulfilment of tho Balfour declaration and Britain's solemn pledges.
