There is a serious shortage of water at Diamond Harbour, a resort across the harbour from Lyttclton. The position is ilue to a lack of an appreciable iain fa 11. Residents have been forced to cirt. water for household use.
One well known accommodation house v«s forced to cancel holiday bookings because of the water shortage.
