COMMENT BY JUDGE. (By TfiVegrapn.—Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. "It is a disturbing feature of the list that there are so many alleged sexual offenees," commented Mr. Justice Smith in opening the Supreme Court sessions to-day. "There are eight indictments against 10 persons, five indictment? involving alleged sexual offence?. "I regret to say that some of the case? are of an exceedingly unpleasant and disturbing character," his Honor added.
