HUSBANDS' CLAIMS.

DECREE NISIS GRANTED.

CO-RESPONDENTS CITED. An action for divorce was brought by Cyril Felix Evelyn Hindmarsh, fanner, of Karaka, against Dorics Pretoria Hindmarsh before Mr. Justice Calian in the Supreme Court to-day. Liddcll McXair Grayson was named as co-respondent. Mr. Mason appeared for petitioner and Mr Dickson, who eaid he would not call evidence, for respondent and co-respondent. Hie Honor instructed Mr. Mason to proceed, as though the case was defended.

Petitioner said he was married in 1921 and lived with his wife until August, 1938, when she left him, taking one of the live children with her. Petiiioncr later discovered that she was occupying a flat with co-respondent in Auckland.

Corroborative evidence was given, and his Honor granted a decree nisi with costs against the co-respondent. Interim custody of four of the children was granted petitioner.

Grounds of Adultery. On the grounds of adultery Valentine Laurence Garden, miller, of Auckland (Mr. Robinson), sought a divorce from Edith Lily May Garden (Mr. Schramm). Edward Edwards, carpenter, of Auckland, was named as co-respondent.

Petitioner said he married in 1922 and there were no children of the marriage. Between 1927 and 1937 his wife had left him on several occasions and had not lived with him since October, 1937.

Evidence regarding the conduct of respondent and co-respondent was given by a private inquiry agent.

A decree nisi was granted, to be moved absolute in three months.
