Mr. W. F. Brooke-Taylor arrived from Wellington in the Limited express this morning.
The Hon. C. J. Carrington, M.L.C., left last night by the Limited express for Wellington.
Mr. W. P. Endean, M.P.. left by the Limited express for Wellingtou last night.
Mr. W. F. Bull, Canadian Trade Commissioner for Xew Zealand, arrived from Wellington by the Limited express this morning.
Mr. H. T. Gibson was this morning nominated by the Waitemata County Council as a local body representative on the Council of the Auckland Institute and Museum.
Mr. A. Tvndall, director of housing, who lias been accompanying the Hon. H. T. Armstrong. Minister of Housing, on a northern tour, returned to Auckland yesterday.
Mr. E. J. Marklew, assistant communications engineer of the Railway Depart inent, left for Hamilton by tlie Rotorua express this morning. He will leave Hamilton for Wellington to-night. Captain H. M. Barnes, captain superintendent of the Xaval Dockyard at Devonport, and. Paymaster-Commander K. \V. James, of H.M.S. Philomel, arrived from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. Mr. A. G. Elliott, of the fields division of the Department of Agriculture, has been transferred on promotion to the position of field crop experimentalist in Wellington. Mr. A. G. Elliott ha« been stationed at Xew Plymouth for four years.
