Skilled Metal Workers For N.Z. Railways. LARGE NUMBERS OFFERING. (Received 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. A further 30 skilled men have been engaged by Mr. E. T. Spidy, superintendent of workshops '-r New Zealand Railways, who said that he was amazed at the number of men offering. Employers in the metal industry are not concerned at the departure of skilled workmen for New Zealand, and no shortage of labour is anticipated.
