CAN SHORE STOP MOUNT ALBERT'S WINNING RUN.

Once more the leaders, Mount Albert are starred in the main attraction at Carlaw Park on Saturday, when tliey will meet the Xorth Shore thirteen. The match is being awaited with interest. Mount Albeit, as their position in the championship table indicates, have shown consistently (food form, and have eclipsed particularly strong sides by substantial margins. 'J hey have a good understandine between the backs and forwards, and it remains to be seen whether Xorth Shore can stop their sequence of successes. I lie early match on Xo. 1 ground will be iK'twcen (,'ity and Maniikau, and hero again a good contest should resuit. The City lorm has been impressive this season, and although Manukau have a tondencv to be eiratic the team is improving in combination.

On tin- Xo. 2 gi on ml Ponsonby will meet Marist, and two e\'enl.v-matched teams will be seen in action. The decision might co either way. KING S BIRTHDAY ATTRACTION. At last night's meeting of the Control Board of the Auckland Rugby League arrangements in connection with the senior match between Richmond and Marist, to be played at Carlaw Park on the King's Birthday, June 5, were discussed. It was decided to reverse the whole of the club series from May 27 to June 3. The chairman, Mr. G. Grey Campbell, said Marist had the bye on Saturday, June 3, and would meet Richmond as a fresher team on the following Monday.

Delegates contended that it was an unfair advantage, and the series was altered so that both teams will be playing on Saturday, June 3. The series set down for Juno 3 will be played on May 27.

Tile chairman said he was pleased to observe that last week the linesmen exercised their rights and assisted the referees as required on occasions.

In response to an inquiry from the Mount Albeit C'lub as to replacement of players at half-time, it was decided to point out that a player injured at the time of arrival of the interval could return when the game resumed if .pronounced fit to play by a St. John Ambulance officer or the doctor, and with the permission of the referee. Otherwise a replacement was permissible. Transfers.—l. Ziegler, Xewton "Rangers, to Xorth Shore reserves; L. Bell, City senioris to senior B (with further regrade to third grade referred to the junior management): J. Cortese. from R.V. senior B to Manukau seniors. Registrations.—W. Birch to Xewton Rangers, O. C. Wilkie (formerly of Richmond) to Xorth Shore, and S. Anderson (formerly of St. George. Sydney) to Xewton, subject to clearance from Xew South Wales. Reinstatement.—R. K. Andrews.
