NEW MOUNTAIN HUT.
SHELTER FOR CAMPERS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTERTON, this day. There was a notable gathering on Mount Holdsworth yesterday when a new hut. -t an altitude of about 4000 feet. v.;i~ officially opened in the presence of a representative gatherinsr of I trami'd" from many parts of the Xorth anil Soni], Islands, over 100 lieing present. The hut. which was erected Ivy the Thitt Valley Tramping Club, commands a magnificent view of the Wairarapa Valley. The opening ceremony was performed by Mr. W. H. Wilson, president of the Hutt Valley Club, who paid a tribute to those who had built the hut and acknowledged assistance received from many kindred crabs.
