The directors of the Centennial Kxliibition are perturbed by the circulation, particularly in the north of X>w Zealand, of unfounded rumoure that the exhibition may have to be postponed for a year. An emphatic denial that this wm eo wee goven to-day by the general manager. Mr. C. P. Hainsworth, who eaid preparations for the exhibition had advanced to eueh a etajre that there was no possibility of a postponement unless in the event of war or a national emergency.
