SHOW AWARDS.
COMPETITIONS FINAUSED. Though the poultry show was the main attraction at the Auckland Winter Inhibition yesterday much interest was taken in ring events and the judging of the bakers' exhibits. BAKERS' AWARDS. There were two classes in the bakers' section, one for the best commercial loaf anil the second for block cakes. The first prizewinner in the commercial loaves class was awarded the New /.ealand championship and the perpetual champion challenge trophy. Results were :— Best Coiniiiereiiil Loaf. — C r>. Four ring events were held yesterday at the Auckland Winter Exhibition and during the evening a pony jump was held for boys and girls under lti. The afternoon events were for ladies' maiden, lightweight and heavy-weight hunters. There was also a contest for the best lady rider. Results were :— Ladies' Maiden Hunter.—X. J.
