TOTANGI OIL BORE.
DEPTH OF 4040 FEET. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORXE, Thursday. The Xew Zealand Petroleum Company advises that progress in the drilling of the Totangi bore during the week has been slow on account of the nature of the rock being penetrated. The bore has now reached a depth of 4040 feet.
