APRIL WILLS.

AUCKLAND ESTATES. BEQUEST. TO ORPHANS. Of 46 wills of deceased persons which were lodged in the Supreme Court, Auckland, in April, for the purposes of probate, only eight related to k estates estimated to be of a value exceeding £5000.

One of the testators, Mr. John Shardlow, settler, of Auckland, included two public bequests in the disposition of his estate, which was valued at under £2700. Provision is made for the realisation of his estate and division of the money into five equal shares, three of which shall go to private persons and one each of -*he shares to the Manurewa Children's Home and the Orphan' Home, Papatoetoe.
