CREW AND PASSENGERS SAVED MANILA, May 10. The United States destroyer Pope has reported by wireless that she rescued tlie passengers and crew, totalling 66, of the British steamer Lindenbank, which, while bound for Shanghai from Fremantle, struck Arena Reef, In the middle of the Sulu Sea, and sank in 600 fathoms. The Lindenbank was a steamer of 5057 tons, belonging to the Bank Line (Andrew Weir and Company, Limited).
