HOCKEY CONTESTS.

ALL AT PAPATOETOE. 'VAKSITY ENGAGE UNITED. ST. MJKES MEET GRAMMAR 0.8. The Auckland men's senior hockey matches will again all be played at Tapatoetoe this week. In the bis frame the unbeaten University team will play last year's champions, United. The latter hope to field their best eleven this week and redeem the defeat by St. Luke's last Saturday. Grammar Old Boys -will not have the services of K. Lawry, their centre half, whose injured finjrer is likely to keep him out of the »amc for about three weeks, and it will be intere-sting to see if they can check St. Luke's run of success. Albertians should prove a difficult hurdle for Mount Kden, while Somerville will have to exert themselves in their same against the newly-promoted Training College team. The Fixtures.
