Mr. J. A. Gentlee left for the south by the early 'plane" this morning. Mr. E.»J. Tait arrived from the south by the Limited express this niorning. Messrs. P. E. and R. B. Tingay arrived by the Limited express from Wellington this morning. Messrs. E. L. Rutledge and R. Marlow will leave by the Limited express for Wellington this evening. Lieutenant R, E. Washbourue, of H.M.S._Achilles, will leave ipr Wellington by the Limited express this evening. The Rev. Colonel F. J. Miles, general secretary of the Russian Missionary Society, returned to Auckland from New Plymouth by air yesterday afternon. Mr. Goriiifr Kennedy, of Ostend, Waiheke, who for the past two months has been undergoing a cours , ; of instruction in aviation at Mansjere, was granted his A license on Tuesday. Mr. I. Mears, of Hamilton, was admitted by Mr. Justice Reed as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme, Court, on the motion of Mr. C. L. MacDiarmid, in Hamilton yetserday. Dr. Allan A. Macdonald, of Mount Albert, is to leave for Australia in the Mariposa to-morrow accompanied by Mrs. ifacdonald. He expects to be away for about two months, and during that time will be engaged in post-graduate work. Mr. C. J. Tunks, chairman of the Auckland centre of the St. John Ambulance Association, and the secretarymanager, Mr. S. E. Langstone, arrived at Auckland in the Limited express this morning from Wellington. Messrs. Tunks and Langstone have been attending a meeting of the commandery council of the Venerable Order of St. John.
