Striking Results Expected In Near Future, MASS PRODUCTION MOOTED. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, May 9. "The development of television will no doubt produce striking results in the comparatively near future and may well be comparable to the invention of the printing in its influence for mankind,"' declared Mr. H. White, chairman of Marconi's, at the annual meeting. The sale of receivers is so striking that manufacturers are already preparing for mass production.
