Precautionary Measures In Tanganyika. INCREASING FORCES. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 5. "The Times" Dar-es-Salaam correspondent says the Tanganyika Government is making an effort to increase the officers of the King's Africa Rifles and also the native reserves. Four hundred additional police •will be enrolled, a reserve of air pilots is being trained and 1450 persons have been enrolled on the voluntary register.
