(Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Mr. E. B. Kaher, leader of the Queensland Country party, stated that Sir Earle Page, leader of the Australian Country party, has given the Queensland Central" Council of the party a pledge that he -will propose to the Prime Minister. Mr. R. G. Menzies, the formation of a national Government. the Primp Minister to be elected by a joint meeting of all parties prepared to co-operate. This would mean the United Australia party and the Country party, as the Labour party will definitely not join in such an arrangement.
