PROSPECTS OF TOOLEY STREET.

The Mcßae Cup is the -p-rincrpal flat event at the Kjxmont meeting, and some good middle-distance horses are included among the acceptor*. Arctic King, who is top weight, was narrowly beaten at Riccarton at Easter by Sitginund when giving the latter 91b. Sow he has to concede him 21b, which ■should bridge the gap. Siegimind was successful in the Hastings Handicap, one mile and a quarter, with 8.0, and second to Trebov with 8.10 in the Eastor Handicap, one mile and a quarter, at the Wairarapa meeting last month. Trebor had 7.7 on that occasion and lias now 7.4, while the next day he was third over nine furlongs and 80yd« to Lady Montana and Good Sun. He had been a great performer in har-k company just previously, and lie looks to be well placed. He is a good winter horse.
