Remuera and Orakei tied with six matches each at the Remuera course, while Akarana defeated Fupuke at Akalana by six matches to four, two being halved. Bentley will be 28 years of age next t month. He was runner-up in the Lancashire amateur championship in 1035-36 and was i In the last eight in the English amateur t-hampionsblp in 1936-37. He was runnerup in the French amateur open In 1938 . Bentley played for England in the boys' International in 1928 and in the senior inter nationals in 1936-37. Sutton won the English close championship in W2O and was mnner-up In 1931. He won the Irish open in 1930 and represented England against Scotland in 1920-31.
