CATHEDRAL FUND.
OVER £86,000 AVAILABLE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. than £86,000 is now available for building the Wellington Anglican Cathedral, the foundation stone of which is to be laid during the centennial celebrations no.xt year. A further £120,000 will he required. The latest figures for the centennial appeal were issued to-day by Canon D. Malcolm, organising secretary. Earnest endeavours are Ix-ing made by church people, not only in New Zealand'but also overseas, to stimulate interest in the appeal. Many people who cannot aliord to make large contributions from their personal means are working to be of assistance in other .ways.
