RED CROSS ACTIVITY.
VOLUNTEERS FOR SERVICE. I For service in an emergency, a special Staff Assistance Corps of nearly 50 members has been formed by the Xew Zealand Red Cross Society. The women who have volunteered include telephonists. typists and book-keepers. All the volunteers are to receive instruction in first aid and personal protection in gas warfare, and classes are about to begin in these subjects.
