YOUTH CONGRESS.
MOVEMENT IN AUCKLAND. To discuss the founding of a Centennial Congress of New Zealand Youth, a well attended meeting was held at the Y.W.C.A. last night. Explaining the aims of the congress, Miss A. M. Hutchins, who presided, said an endeavour would be made to arouse the interest of New Zealand youth in problems affecting them and their country, to promote and inorease the cultural, intellectual and recreational activities of the youth of this country, and to co-operate with the youth of other countries in solving problem* affecting young men and women. In a letter to tjie meeting, the Hon. W. E. Parry, Minister of Internal Affairs, expressed hopes for the success of the movement, which had his official sanction. A provisional committee was elected.
