PRIME MINISTER'S SAY.
INKLING OF AUTHORITY.
An inkling of his authority was given by the Prime Minister, the 'Right Hon. M; J. when he addressed to-day employees of a city factory which he visited.
Mr. Savage said he wished to apologise for the absence of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan* who was engaged at the defence conference in Wellington.
"I nm in the habit of saying at times that certain things will he done and that other things will stop," he added. "I've got to say 'Stop,' that's all, and it stop*.
"Therefore, even though Mr. Sullivan was unfortunately unable to be with us, you lose nothing in the authority of the Government."
